Bostons 4 Bostons is a group of Boston Terriers (and honourary Boston
Terriers) holding a fundraising auction for one of their own!
When little Boston Terrier Simon was just a baby, his owners
discovered
that he has epilepsy, so they gave him away. The next home gave him
away too - too much trouble. And so it went - poor little Simon
bounced from home to home for several months, no one able or willing
to
commit to his special needs. Fortunately, Simon eventually arrived in
the Boston Terrier Club of Canada Rescue (BTCCR) program, where he
was
given the medical care he needed. Once Simon's medication levels were
adjusted, he was ready to find his "forever" home.
As fate would have it, Ken and Sharon of Quesnel, BC had just
experienced the loss of their female Boston Terrier named Belle, who
had also had epilepsy. Even though it was very soon after Belle's
passing, the Clarks saw past their grief and opened their hearts to
Simon. Simon had finally found his "forever" family, complete with a
Boston brother named Baxter to play with and cuddle with.
But sadly Simon's health took a dangerous turn for the worse on a
recent family trip to the United States. Vet bills escalated, but
still
his family elected to continue treating Simon, as long as there was
hope their beloved little Boston could recover. And their decision,
though a very expensive one, was proved to be the right one - Simon
is
finally back home in Canada, and under the care of his own vet, doing
remarkably well!
Unfortunately, Rescue is not in a financial position to help cover
the
costs of medical bills of family pets - as you can understand we are
stretched to the limit trying to meet the needs of the unwanted or
homeless Bostons who don't have a family of their own to care for
them.
Yet, because Simon is part of our rescue "family", we wanted to help.
And Bostons 4 Bostons was born!

the items you will see were donated especially for Simon's medical
fund
by his canine friends, and 100% of proceeds will go to help his
family

12:00 am MST.
