I miss my Bostie...

topic posted Sat, December 18, 2004 - 7:14 PM by  Chris
My little friend Mister Bones died yesterday. He was only 8. He was the best dog I've ever known.

Anyone has any info on good Bostie breeders in the tri-state area (NJ/NY/CT), I'd appreciate it.

No breeders I know, but I can suggest the boston terrier rescue. They have adult bostons and sometimes puppies. Everyone buys puppies and you know how much older bosties [like that] need their parents, although I think my Dylan George thinks I am his girlfriend. I am so sorry your son died the other day. All my condolences!!!!!!!!!!. Post some pics up and keep his evrgreen memory alive. M.

Bone Dog is cute as the dickens- I love the half-moon face. I haven't found a new friend yet. Bosties are very trendy right now and are subsequently very expensive. We still have Mister Wiggles, but he's no Bones.
Thank you for caring- I think you need to be a Bostie Buddy to know how hard it is to lose one. I think about that funny little dog every day- it was the best friend I ever had.

That B&W pic of Bones was at her favorite park: Grindstone Nature Area. Ron (the photographer.. and Tribe member) took the pic and we just love it. If you look close there is a twinkle in her eye. :-)

You are right... you must have a Bostie Buddy to really get it. I think I laugh everyday at things she does. After hearing the term I now call her the neighborhood comedian. It suits her well. Saturday night we went to a movie in the park downtown and right before the movie started I took her to a clearing to run. I laughed so much! She was running SO FAST in circles around me with her mouth wide open in a huge dog smile. Then she'd fall to the ground suddenly and lie there panting.. just to get up and do it again. They love running.

Is Mister Wiggles a Bostie too?

Yeah... Bone Dog is my bestfriend. I told her this weekend that she had to live forever. :-)
